the your sinclair badge

If you’d ever get a letter published in Your Sinclair magazine, you’d receive the much coveted “YS Badge” or “Your Sinclair Badge” in the mail. It was announced in April of 1986 in a small article (below) which stated that any letter published would be eligible, no matter in which part of the magazine it were be printed.

The YS Badge was a beautiful rectangular enamelled metal badge with a red sparkly background, unlike many other badges of the magazine that were made. It was manufactured by W Reeves & Co in Birmingham.

I could not find many pictures, stories or mentions of the Your Sinclair badge on the internet, so I’m posting them here.
